How to set up Microsoft 365 Two-factor Authentication

- Navigate to https://portal.office.com, preferably on a computer.
- If you are logged in already log out of your account. This is found in the profile picture in the top right of the page.
- Log into your BV account.
- You should be promoted to provide more information.
- Select the option to setup an Authenticator App.
- Install Microsoft Authenticator on your smartphone. QR codes to the correct app store below.

- Install and open the MS Authenticator app on your smartphone. If prompted, allow notifications. Then add an account, and select "Work or school" and the Scan QR Code option. No need to sign-in the app.

- Click next on the computer screen and follow the prompts until you get to a QR code. Allow the app access to your camera and scan the QR Code.
- Now the security token for your account is in the Microsoft Authenticator App. Click next on computer screen.
- A number is displayed on-screen and a push notification asking for the number is sent to your phone. Enter the number into the field on your phone and press yes.
- Click next on the computer screen and click Done
